Steven Austin Hair Artist is a nationally recognized and award winning salon, based in Bolton. Steven specialises in all aspects of hair and wig colouring, and wig making. For over 15 years Steven has provided a 5 star service his many loyal clients globally, gaining popularity over these years, to where they are today - the go to person for bespoke coloured wigs and hair transformations.

I have been working in salons since I was 14; starting in my home town of Knutsford and now I work out of my home based salon in Bolton.
A little over 2 years ago I ventured into wig work for Drag Queen's and after doing hair for a few of well known Drag Race Queen's the business snowballed to the popularity it has today.
My wigs go all over the world, from America to Brazil, Europe and even Australia.
I specialise in bright and pastel colours, although I am more than competent at everything else in between.
I am an official ambassador and educator for Manic Panic and advocate for Olaplex.
I have been awarded Colour Technician of the Year at the British Hair and Beauty Awards in 2018, 2019 and 2020 as well as Stylist of the Year in 2020 and Creative Artist of the Year in 2020.
I also won the first ever Colour Genius Award with Colour World UK in 2019 and Colour Technician of the Year with the British Hair and Beauty Talent Awards in 2020.
Thanks to these accolades and some hard work I am fortunate to now call many of the Drag Race Royalty my clients. My customers include Naomi Smalls, Detox, Willam, Priyanka, Tayce, Trinity, Cheryl Hole, and Jiggly amongst many, many more.
My work is totally bespoke and by commission only, and I love the process of creating something utterly unique for my clients.
